Bank Holiday enjoyed by Burnham-On-Sea traders
businesses in Burnham-On-Sea have enjoyed a bumper Bank Holiday
weekend as sunny weather attracted crowds of visitors.
ice cream parlour Flavours on The Esplanade was among the firms
which benefited, according to owner Nigel Burrow (pictured).
told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It's been a great first week of
trade for us. There's been lots of demand for our award-winning,
locally-made ice cream. The great weather has certainly helped."
one of Burnham's holiday traditions, the beach donkeys, were also
kept busy. Owner Debbie Banwell told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The
beach has been busier than normal for the time of the year and
our donkeys have proved popular."
