Burnham
rescue boat crew helps wildlife carers reach injured bird

A
rescue boat crew from Burnham-On-Sea was called out on Sunday
afternoon (March 6th) to help animal carers reach this swan that
had become tangled up in fishing line.
Secret
World Wildlife Rescue contacted BARB (Burnham Area Rescue Boat)
at 3.30pm to assist them with the rescue of the distressed bird
on a stretch of water near Lympsham.
BARB's
boat was used to reach the bird and successfully remove the line.
Secret
World volunteer Martin Kendall said: "The bird had been reported
to us by a walker who had seen it in difficulty and tangled up
in a fishing line. We were grateful to BARB for their help."
