Barn dance raises fun and funds for Burnham hovercraft charity

Crewmembers from Burnham-On-Sea rescue hovercraft charity BARB attended a fundraising barn dance to raise funds for the life-saving organisation.

Scores of supporters attended the event, organised by The Rotary Inner Wheel Club of Wrington Vale, at Shipham Village Hall.

Music and dancing from Fourgere Rouge was held during the successful event, which was also attended by BARB's volunteers.

The Wrington Vale Inner Wheel group has made BARB (Burnham Area Rescue Boat) its charity of the year for 2011.
