All aboard! Burnham-On-Sea beach train re-starts for summer

-

A popular tourist attraction made a seasonal reappearance on Burnham-On-Sea beach on Saturday (April 9th).

Rides on the motorised pirate train next to Burnham jetty have re-started following the winter break.

Operated by Ivan Holland (pictured), the five-minute rides cost £1 a time and take visitors on a circular tour of the beach.

“The rides proved popular last year and we’re hoping for another busy summer season. Weather permitting, the rides will be available every weekend until September,” Ivan told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The ride is operated as a licensed concession through Sedgemoor District Council.
