Police team up with bike shop to offer Highbridge security marking

-

Cyclists in Highbridge can now get their bikes security marked at a cycle shop in the town centre.

Police are working in partnership with Skidmarx Cycles in Church Street to provide cyclists with the opportunity to get their pedal cycles marked using police-recognised methods.

PCSO Claire Finch told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Marking your pedal cycles using recognised methods will help prevent your pedal cycle being stolen. It will also help police identify a bike as stolen and help get it returned to its rightful owner.”

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Skidmarx Cycles for their assistance with this very worthwhile scheme. By working in partnership with Skidmarx, a member of public can now access this service during shop opening hours with no appointment necessary.”
