of building machinery stolen from Burnham-On-Sea church
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after £25,000
of building machinery was stolen from outside the town's catholic
church earlier this week.
incident occurred between 5pm on Monday 6th June and 6.30am on
Tuesday 7th June.
offenders gained access to the rear of the building, where building
is currently being carried out, and two pieces of plant hire were

1.6 tonne Takeuchi digger, grey in colour with a purple counter
weight and dipper arm."
"The second is a 1.0 tonne Terex 4 X 4 High tip dumper, yellow
in colour, with a purple skip."
"It is believed that the offenders would have to have used
either a large transit van and trailer or a 7.5 tonne lorry/flatbed."
He added that the two pieces of plant machinery are valued collectively
at approximately £25,000.
Searle appealed for anyone who saw any suspicious activities in
the area at the time to contact them via 0845 456700, quoting
Guardian reference 66564/11.
