Dreamscheme carry out fundraising car wash

Over 40 members of Burnham Dreamscheme spent the morning on
Wednesday (August 10th) washing cars for charity.
Despite a last minute change of venue, dozens of cars queued
up to be cleaned outside the town's fire station.
Leader
John Alexander told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "A big thank you
goes to all the motorists who put their trust in the young members
cleaning their cars and then paying for the privilege! Thank you
for your support."
He also thanked the Fire Service for offering their help at the
last minute after a blocked drain on the seafront led to a late
change of location from the hovercraft station.
The event raised money for both Burnham Dreamscheme and rescue
hovercraft charity BARB.
Highbridge Dreamscheme will be holding a fundraising car wash
at the fire station this Saturday (August 13th) from 10am-2pm.
