Burnham-On-Sea fire crews called to Brean caravan blaze

-

Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to Brean on Sunday evening (October 30th) to extinguish a caravan fire.

Two fire engines were called to Brean’s Unity Farm holiday park in Coast Road at 6.34pm.

The park’s on-site security officer raised the alarm after a smoke detector had been activated in a caravan after smoke had been seen emerging from inside.

“Crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet and two breathing apparatus wearers,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com, who added that the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
