Cricket Club celebrates 150th anniversary
Cricket Club held a very special celebration on Sunday afternoon
(June 12th) when it marked its 150th anniversary.
club, based at Burnham's BASC ground, held a celebratory lunch
and tea for over 100 former players - some of whom are now well
into their 80s.
Mayor and Mayoress, Michael and Maria Clarke, were among the special
guests at Sunday's event.

"In addition to the tea, a triangular 20/20 series of matches
featuring Burnham Cricket Club against the very same clubs that
we played in that first year, namely North Petherton CC and Weston
Super Mare CC, is also to be played."
