Burnham-On-Sea club’s cushions help patients at Weston Hospital

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Inner Wheel Club are continuing to support cancer patients by providing breast cushions to Weston Hospital and the local community.

The club has recently completed work on 34 cushions, 24 of which have gone straight to Weston Hospital.

“Four are already helping ladies in the area and the rest will be kept for use within the immediate community,” the club’s Sandra Squire told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The patients have really appreciated receiving the cushions, especially those who have recently had surgery. They have used the breast cushions and found them a great comfort in helping to ease the discomfort of surgery.”

“Burnham-On-Sea Inner Wheel Club feel very privileged to have been of service over the last few years and are happy to continue this service.”
