MP joins Burnham-On-Sea dental practice’s award celebrations

-

Burnham’s MP joined in the celebrations at a dental surgery in the town on Friday (July 29th) when it was presented with a top award.

Burnham’s College Street Dental Practice has been awarded the British Dental Association’s Good Practice Award.

MP Tessa Munt, Mayor Michael Clarke and Mayoress Maria Clarke were among the VIPs invited to the special function at the practice to mark the award being formally handed over.

The team has been working hard to comply with the British Dental Association Good Pratice Scheme and their commitment to high standards has been recognised with the award.

One of the surgery’s prinicipal dentists told Burnham-On-Sea.com they were all delighted with the award.

“The team here works so hard to provide a good service to our patients. We involve all our patients in their treatment right from the start. We discuss the options available and give them all the information they need to decide what is best for them. Patient waiting times are kept to a minimum and every effort is made to make appointments that are convenient and the patient is happy,” he said.

The team comprises Practice Manager Karen Jury-Dando and Colin Tayor, Steve Watts, George Slabbert, Fiona Clements, Gill Short, Jeanette Garrett, Julie Baker, Monica Hart, Carol Clark, Janet Clarke, Heidi Taylor, Laura Kite, Karen Wheeler, Jane Fellows and Laura Shaw.
