pensioner gathers £2k of sponsorship for parachute jump
daredevil pensioner from Burnham-On-Sea who is planning to do
a fundraising parachute jump for charity has collected over £2,000
earlier this year how Dot Anderson, 71, is planning to jump
out of a plane in April during the daring feat.
says she is delighted with the amount promised, but would like
to raise at least £3,000 for her three supported charities

As Dot continues to make preparations for the jump - which will
be made in April during a trip to Australia - she has just handed
over a cheque for £1,000 to St Margaret's Hospice.

has made the hospice her chosen supported charity for the year
and the £1,000 was raised during the group's various fundraising
Julie Draper, Community Fundraiser at St Margaret's Hospice, said:
"The kindness, generosity and support from Dot has been amazing
and I am truly grateful for this donation. It was wonderful to
collect the cheque and meet some lovely people. I wish Dot every
success with her forthcoming fundraising Parachute jump!"
