In photos: Dreamscheme launch Halloween ‘treat, no trick’ campaign

-

Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Dreamscheme delivered sweets and posters to residents across the town on Wednesday (October 26th) to promote their Halloween safety drive.

As part of the group’s half-term activities, the youngsters knocked on doors and handed out the posters during their ‘Treat, no Trick’ campaign.

The posters can be displayed in windows to let people know if trick or treaters are welcome at their door on Halloween night.

As a reward, the youngsters are being treated to a special Halloween Party on Sunday from 4-7pm at Burnham’s BAY Centre in Cassis Close.

Pictured are some of the Dreamscheme members at the BAY Centre on Wednesday receiving their bronze certificates, while ‘TJ’ achieved the group’s very first silver award (right).

This week’s activities are being supported by several local companies.

A local drinks company, Think Drinks, supplied all the drinks and also carried out a survey on some new flavours which was popular with the children. The group also received its brand new Dreamscheme banner, kindly donated by Quicksign.
