Over
90 take part in traditional Easter race to top of Brent Knoll

Dozens
of youngsters took part in the annual Easter run to the top of
Brent Knoll on
Saturday afternoon (April 2nd).
The
race is held from outside the village's primary school and this
year's event saw almost 90 children making their way to the summit
and back.
Each
youngster collected a numbered lolly stick at the top of the Knoll
and then returned to the school where they claimed an Easter egg.
This
year's event was won by Beck Bishop, 10, while Tiger Oatley-Summers,
10, was second - both are pictured.
Organiser
Julie Rickwood, from the school's PTA, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"The race was very well supported again this year by almost
90 children and we thank everyone who helped."
The
event coincided with the school's Easter fayre, when a number
of stalls and attractions were set up in the playground.
