Motorist hurt in two-vehicle crash on outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea

Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the B3140 next to Edithmead’s M5 roundabout at 6.15am after a two-vehicle collision.

Police spokesman Wayne Baker told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A Peugoet and a Nissan van were involved in an accident and a man was taken to Weston General Hospital with chest pains.”

The road was partially closed while police diverted traffic around the scene during the morning rush period.
