In photos: Cream tea boosts funds for Highbridge Festival of the Arts

Over £750 was raised for the Highbridge Festival of the Arts during a fundraising cream tea in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday afternoon (August 13th).

Burnham and Highbridge's Mayor and Mayoress, Michael and Maria Clarke, were among the guests at the special event held in the garden of a house in Rectory Road.

Over 150 people enjoyed cakes, scones and cups of tea to raise much-needed funds for the festival, which has seen its grant funding reduced in recent years.

Chairman Denise Berry told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We are extremely delighted with how the event went and thank everyone who supported us today."
