Fundraising concerts and raffle raise £2,500 for Highbridge festival

A total of £2,500 has been raised for the Highbridge Festival of the Arts by a popular fundraising raffle and concerts.

Organiser Ann Burridge has this week thanked all those who supported the events, which were held to raise much-needed cash towards running the annual festival.

“We held two very enjoyable concerts with young and old performers playing various instruments and singing,” she told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“I would also like to thank everyone who donated, helped and in any other way contributed to the success of our fundraising raffle and concerts.”

The winners were: Lee Stoodley, Mr Yip, Jane Gibbs, Mike Allen, Philip Farr-Cox, P Morris, Lydia Buncombe, Bobby Hicks, James Soffe, Amy Balcomb, Holly Brown, Mr & Mrs Fuller, P Hemming, Dave Hanlon, Rachel Burland, Mr Davies, Mr Yip, Maxine Shattock, Rosemary Hawkins, Mrs Mills, Mrs Mitchell, Julia Baxter, Gwen Holman, Phil Coles, Frank Parker, Mrs Chatterton, Mrs Mackie, Janet Coleman, Holly Banes, Alice Burridge, Melvin Shepherd, DIY shop, Margaret Welch and Hazel Braun.
