This dramatic video footage shows the ferocity of the blaze that Burnham-On-Sea fire crews tackled at the Highbridge Hotel on Monday evening (October 17th).
Fire engines from Burnham and Bridgwater rushed to the scene at 4.54pm and found the property well alight.
“A third of the building was involved in the fire,” fire spokesman Paul Slavin told Burnham-On-Sea.com. The roof and a whole floor inside the derelict property was destroyed.
The video and photos, captured by Lee Thorn and Sophie Adams, shows the flames completely engulfing the roof of the derelict hotel.
