Music lovers flocked to Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (September 3rd) when over 70 musicians and performers were in action across the town during the sixth annual FolkFest.

Musical acts and dance groups performed at seven venues across the town – watched by large numbers of onlookers.

A craft fair was also held along Burnham High Street plus workshops inside the Baptist Church and dance performances outside.

FolkFest Chairman Graham Cook told Burnham-On-Sea.com he was “delighted” with how Saturday had gone.

The fun continues on Sunday during the annual Folk In The Park in Burnham’s Manor Gardens from 12pm-6pm. Entertainment will include the The Carrvick Sisters, Fallen Apples, Sail Pattern and 3 Daft Monkeys plus The Mudlarks, Coastal Cloggers and Tiger Feet Appalachian dancers. Entry will be free.
