Former Manchester City player Tommy Hutchison and Bristol City’s Sam Downes were the two special guests at a football school held in Burnham-On-Sea this week.

The two players coached a group of students at a summer football event organised by Burnham United.

“The youngsters picked up lots of useful tips from Tommy and Sam on how to improve their game and everyone had a great time,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The school ended on Wednesday (August 24th) with a short match and the presentation of certificates to the players.

Tommy Hutchison, who also attended a similar event in Highbridge in 2008, is a former Scottish international with 17 caps who also played with Manchester City and was a member of his country’s 1974 World Cup squad in West Germany.
