Dozens of motorcyclists will be roaring through Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge this Sunday (May 22nd) when a fundraising ride-out is held and there’s still time for local bikers to join in.

Somerset Motorcycle Group is organising the 100 mile bike run, which will start from Highbridge’s Bristol Bridge Inn at 10am and finish on Burnham seafront at around 2pm.

“We will be travelling from Highbridge to Ilminster then going on to Podimore, Shepton, Wells, Cheddar, Weston and ending in Burnham,” organiser Norman Templeman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“These ride-out are always a lot of fun – we’ve had interest from over 30 bikers and hope more will join us on the day.”

Entry costs £5 per bike with the proceeds going to hovercraft rescue charity BARB (Burnham Area Rescue Boat).

For more details, call Norman Templeman on 07759 907514 or turn up on the day.

The bikers will finish outside Burnham’s seafront hovercraft station, which is also holding an open day on the same day.
