Burnham-On-Sea rock group’s charity music song is released

-

A Burnham-On-Sea rock group has formally released a new song and music video this week which are raising funds for two local good causes.

The Ginger Hitlas single, Hey Little Lady, was recorded last month in Burnham – as reported here – and has been launched in aid of The Friends of Burnham Hospital and BARB, the two official charities of the year for Mayor Michael Clarke.

The song is now available to download via Amazon.co.uk here as well as Apple’s iTunes here.

The Mayor told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The song is a lot of fun and is raising money for two excellent local charities. I’d like to thank everyone involved for their work in putting together this super fundraising song and hope that lots of people will buy it.”

The song was especially written for The Ginger Hitlas by Somerset-based song writer Trajan J Trathan.

The song was performed for the first time in public during last Saturday’s Mayor’s Right Royal Do, which was held outside the Victoria Hotel on the day after the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
