Having to settle for third was David Haines and his team representing Burnham Golf Range made up of Mike Porter, Terry Edwards and Brian Warner.

Rounding out the prize positions was a team named 'Billy the Kids. The team moniker has horse racing connections and was led by jockey David Crosse, along with Brean members Eamonn Wynne, Tony Higgins and Jason Kidley who handed in a card totalling 80 points.

The winners all received their spoils at the presentation in the Tavern at Brean Leisure Park with the day being concluded by David Haines performing an impressive golf trick shot show for all present.

"Special thanks must go to many people for making the event the success that it is. Firstly Brean Leisure Park, the House family and Bob Nicholson for running the event and the hospitality extended to all present, Deidre Wheadon for the smooth organisation, Robin Williams and his team of green staff for the superb presentation of the golf course which was met with unanimous praise, the jockeys and PGA Pros who took part, Roger Williams for performing the starter’s duties and finally to all the sponsors for supporting what has now become one of the most popular events on the golfing calendar in the area. The countdown has already started to next year’s event!"
