"Special thanks must go to many people for making the event the success that it is. Firstly Brean Leisure Park, the House family and Bob Nicholson for running the event and the hospitality extended to all present, Deidre Wheadon for the smooth organisation, Robin Williams and his team of green staff for the superb presentation of the golf course which was met with unanimous praise, the jockeys and PGA Pros who took part, Roger Williams for performing the starter’s duties and finally to all the sponsors for supporting what has now become one of the most popular events on the golfing calendar in the area.
