Red Hot Chilli Peppers guitar to be auctioned at Brent Knoll concert

A guitar played by 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' bass guitarist Flea is to be auctioned for charity during a fundraising Christmas concert in Brent Knoll tonight (Saturday).

Michael 'Flea' Balzary is best known for being the co-founding member and one of the composers of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The rare signature guitar will be auctioned at the Westcroft Cider Farm Christmas Party on Saturday 26th November, which will feature live performances by The Cliff Moore Rock Band, So Watt featuring former Mungo Gerry drummer Jamei Roberts and solo performer Nathaniel Topping.

The show opens at 7.30pm and tickets, priced at £7.50 each, are available from Brent Knoll's Red Cow Inn, Brent Knoll Post Office and Hurleys bookshop in Burnham High Street or by calling 01278 760762.

The auction will take place between 9pm and 10pm, with funds going to the charity Amend, the Association for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Disorders.

The all-weather event includes cider, a pig roast, barbecue, crepes, mulled wine, mince pies and a raffle.
