In photos and video: Gun fight drama unfolds in Brent Knoll!

-

This was the scene in Brent Knoll on Monday afternoon (May 2nd) after a dramatic gun fight broke out.

But there was no need for concern since Burnham’s Boots And Saddles Western Re-enactment and Living History Display Club was safely demonstrating how the famous Gunfight at the OK Corral in 1881 unfolded.

Visitors to the group’s three days of re-enactments have been shown how the 30-second gunfight unfolded alongside other western and Native American Indian demonstrations and displays – all for a good cause.

The group’s trail boss, Dave Rouse, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A lot of fun has been had, but with a serious side since we have been raising money for the charity Help For Heroes. We were delighted to collect £3,000 last year and hope to raise another good sum this year.”

The group’s next re-enactments will be on July 2-3 at Sanders Garden World and over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
