Burnham’s Mayor and Mayoress were among the large number of visitors who attended a Christmas Art and Craft Market which was held on Saturday (December 10th) by members of Highbridge and Burnham Artists (HABA).

The event in Burnham Community Centre saw a wide range of work from local artists go on display.

“It was a very busy day with lots of visitors despite the poor weather,” one of the organisers, Sue Hammond-Lovatt, told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “There was a good range of locally-made art and craft items on show.”

The work included paintings, glass, ceramics, etching, photography, greeting cards, bags, quilting, woodwork, jewellery and pastels.
