Members of Highbridge Dreamscheme are having a busy summer holiday – with a charity car wash being the latest in a series of community activities to be held in recent days.

The group, pictured, washed dozens of cars outside Burnham Fire Station on Saturday to raise funds for the Dreamscheme group.

Last week, 20 youngsters also took part in a design competition in which they worked on creating a new-look logo for Highbridge Dreamscheme, which is due to be unveiled in the autumn.

The group also had a successful day at the Apex Fun Day earlier this month when they ran a tombola stall and other activities.

The group’s first outing was a trip to the seaside resort of Weymouth, which was enjoyed by all.

“It’s been a busy summer holiday so far – the children have had a lot of fun while carrying out community work to earn their points for trips out. We have more activities planned this week and a trip to Paignton Zoo is being planned for later in the month,” leader Trish Hart told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
