Flower planting work gets underway in Highbridge town centre

-

Work to plant flower beds in the centre of Highbridge has been underway this week with the help of a local garden centre.

A team from Sanders Garden World planted numerous plants in two raised corner beds and the ‘l’ shaped border on Highbridge Town Green.

Pam Lyes from Highbridge In Bloom told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “These beds have, with the help of Sedgemoor District Council, been revamped and replenished with new top soil to enable Garden World to replant them with new flowers and shrubs.”

“These beds will be maintained by Garden World and the seasonal plants will be changed as and when required.”

She added: “Up until now the beds have been maintained by the Town Council, and Highbridge in Bloom have obtained the sponsorship of Garden World, to whom we are very grateful.”
