Ice
cream van rescued from sticky situation on Burnham beach!

Volunteers
from Burnham-based rescue charity BARB were called to help this
ice cream van when it became stuck on the town's beach on Sunday
morning (April 17th).
The vehicle's rear wheels sank into the soft sand next to
the town's jetty and BARB's tractor, which was nearby, was used
to pull it free.
Ice
cream van owner Puwcao Fabrizio said: "I was very grateful
for BARB's help after this unfortunate accident and have made
a donation to cover their costs. Without their help, I would have
been selling ice cream to the fish when the tide reached me!"
BARB
volunteer Mike Lowe added: "We were happy to help pull the
vehicle free. It was another reminder about the potential dangers
of soft sand and mud on our beaches."
