Scores of people will be able to take their first steps on the Internet during a special event in Burnham-On-Sea this Friday (November 4th).

Burnham’s BAY Centre in Cassis Close is one of hundreds of locations across the UK taking part in an initiative to promote Internet use.

The centre’s expert volunteers will be on hand from 10am-3.30pm to help visitors.

Spokesman Mike Lang told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “No appointments are necessary, so just pop in for your first Internet experience. The BAY Centre is a designated UK online centre so whether you want email, internet shopping, or just want to keep up with news online, our team of volunteers are patient and unflinching.”
