photos: 100 take part in Burnham-On-Sea's Christmas Jingle Run
100 fun runners braved chilly temperatures to take part in Burnham-On-Sea's
annual 'Jingle Run' on Sunday (December 18th).
popular event saw many of the runners taking part in colourful
festive costumes along the town's seafront. Among the fancy dress
outfits were Santas, Panto dames, elves and reindeer!
main four-mile run began on the North Esplanade, with the runners
wending their way along the seafront to Apex Park and back, while
the shorter children's fun run saw the participants dashing along
the beach to the jetty and back.
Martin Rogers from Burnham Swim and Sports Academy told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"It was a great morning of fun. We've had a really good turnout
of runners and everyone seems to have had a good time."
