Burnham-On-Sea’s Friends of Marine Cove are seeking volunteers with an interest in knitting.
The recently unveiled logo for the refurbished gardens features a frog and community gardener Jacqui Strong is looking at ways of raising money to support the ongoing maintenance.
Jacqui told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I am keen for all members of the community to be involved in some way with Marine Cove, so whilst gardening may not be everyone’s cup of tea, knitting may hit the button.”
“Knitted frogs will be sold at future events to help with ongoing funds – and patterns and wool will be supplied.”
