Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to a car blaze on the M5 on Friday afternoon (November 18th).
One fire engine was called to the southbound carriageway in between junctions 22 and 23 near Burnham at 12.09pm.
“An elderly couple inside the car raised the alarm after a fault with the vehicle’s radiator,” fire spokesman Paul Slavin told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We ensured the vehicle was safe and gave them advice before being stood down.”
