A long-running Burnham-On-Sea charity is to celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special dinner and dance.

Burnham Community Medical Equipment Fund has given £250,000 of equipment to needy people in the area since it was formed in 1986.

To mark its first quarter century, supporters and members of the charity will be gathering at Batch Farm in Lympsham on Sunday 3rd July at 12.30pm for a celebratory dinner.

Tickets, costing £20, include a three-course lunch and live music from local group The Keytones, who will play music from the 1960s to the present day.

“We’re looking forward to this being a memorable event to celebrate a significant milestone for our charity,” the group’s Chairman, Tom Ashton, told Burnham-On-Sea.com, who added that tickets are still available by calling 01278 786726 or 784045.
