Burnham-On-Sea’s MP enjoyed this light-hearted moment with Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg when he made a visit to Somerset on Friday (March 4th).

Despite the Lib Dems nursing their wounds after finishing in sixth place during Thursday’s Barnsley Central by-election, the Deputy Prime Minister shrugged off the result and said his party should not be written off in May’s local elections.

He and Tessa Munt enjoyed a brief game of table football during a visit to a youth club in Wells, as pictured here.

During Friday’s trip, Mr Clegg also met several of the candidates standing for election in the Burnham-On-Sea area, plus others across Sedgemoor.

He met several youngsters who are worried about the possible closure of a youth club in Wells due to council cutbacks.
