A group of 28 children aged 4-11 have performed a show called ‘Olivia’, a female version of Oliver Twist, in the town.

The show was rehearsed during a summer school held at Burnham-based dance and fitness centre, DanceFit.

Instructor Emma Duffill and Kristina Lewis from Burnham’s Bay Club Dancers were overwhelmed by the amount of talented children Burnham has to offer.

The show, Olivia, was performed in front of a full house of families and friends at The Princess Theatre.

“From their cockney accents to their energetic dancing and singing, they put on a fantastic show,” DanceFit’s Victoria Roberts told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

DanceFit and The Bay Club Dancers will re-start their classes in the first week of September. For more information, contact Emma at info@fit-com.co.uk.
