Dreamscheme youngsters visit Paignton Zoo
Youngsters
at Highbridge Dreamscheme enjoyed a trip to Paignton Zoo to a
popular zoo to reward them for all their hard work over the summer.
The youngsters were taken to Paignton Zoo where they enjoyed
a well-deserved day of fun.
"It's been a very busy summer - the children have had a
lot of fun while carrying out community work to earn their points,"
leader Trish Hart told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"The last trip of the summer saw Highbridge Dreamscheme
visit Paignton Zoo. Both the youths and the helpers had a wonderful
day. The sun was shining and it was warm. We all went off in groups
and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves."
In
August, the group washed dozens of cars outside Burnham Fire Station
to raise funds for the Dreamscheme group.
20
youngsters also took part in a design competition in which they
worked on creating a new-look logo for Highbridge Dreamscheme,
which is due to be unveiled in the autumn.
The group also had a successful day at the Apex Fun Day earlier
this month when they ran a tombola stall and other activities.
