Burnham police make arrest after man is hurt in head-butting incident

A man has been arrested following an alleged head-butting incident in Burnham-On-Sea's town centre over the weekend.

Police were called to Pier Street at 2am on Saturday (September 17th) amid reports of a scuffle between two men.

"One man had been headbutted in the face and suffered a suspected broken nose," Inspector Roger Tolley told

He added: "A 20-year-old man has been arrested but the victim decided not to press charges."

Investigations into the incident were ongoing and anyone with information should call 0845 456 7000 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
