Police urge Burnham-On-Sea residents to be vigilant after break-ins

Police in Burnham-On-Sea have this week warned residents to be extra vigilant following several break-ins.

In the latest incident on Thursday evening (August 11th), police were called to Golf Links Road, as pictured, after a house had been burgled.

Police spokesman Martin Dunscombe told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police are investigating a burglary in Golf Links Road which occurred on Thursday between 5pm and 6.20pm.”

“The house was entered and searched the property, before property including electrical items and cash, was stolen. Investigations are ongoing and we would ask any witnesses to get in contact with us.”

Other burglaries have occurred in Berrow and in Rooksbridge.
