Monopoly-themed dance spectacular comes to Burnham’s Princess

-

Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s DanceFit Club and The Bay Club Dancers are in final rehearsals for two special performances at the town’s Princess Theatre this Saturday (April 2nd).

The performance – which will be the first at the building under the new ownership of Burnham and Highbridge Town Council – will be called ‘Chance 2 Dance, A Monopoly Showcase’.

Featuring different dance styles including contemporary, hip hop, street dance, tap, Latin and much more, the show promises to transport the audience around a monopoly board!

“Dancers will vary from 3 years-old to adults and there will also be a guest performance by the newest professional contemporary dance company in Somerset, Torima. It will be a superb show,” co-organiser Victoria Roberts told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

There will be performances at 2.30pm and 6pm on Saturday. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £4.50 for concessions, and are available by phoning 07701 045993.
