wedding street party plans gather support
is preparing to hold a huge street party to remember during this
Spring's Royal wedding celebrations.
Highbridge Residents' Association is organising the party in
the town in April to celebrate the marriage of Prince William
and Kate Middleton.
The first meeting of the street party's task force will be held
at Highbridge Children's Centre at 10am on Friday 21st January
when the plans will start to come together.
Tina Gray, Vice Chairman of Highbridge Residents' Association,
hopes the party will stir up a similar community spirit to that
of the 1977 Silver Jubilee, which marked the 25th anniversary
of the Queen and Prince Philip.
