Burnham-On-Sea’s Carnival Queen was the special guest invited to perform the opening of a town church’s annual summer fete on Saturday (July 16th).

Anna Kevan cut a ribbon to open the popular event at St Andrew’s Church, which was attended by many dozens of supporters.

The event included stalls, games and entertainment from the Siobhan Johnson Singers to raise money for the church.

Rev Paul Kingdom told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Although the wet weather meant all the stalls and activities had to be held inside this year, it was a very good afternoon and everyone had an enjoyable time.”
