Second crash in 36 hours at busy Burnham-On-Sea road junction

Two cars were damaged in a crash at a busy Burnham-On-Sea road junction on Saturday afternoon (September 17th) - the second accident at the spot in just 36 hours.

Two cars collided at the junction of Stoddens Lane and Queen's Drive at around 2pm, as pictured.

Inspector Roger Tolley from Burnham Police confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Two vehicles - a Volkswagen and a Peugeot - were involved in the collision."

He added: "An ambulance was called, but fortunately there were no serious injuries."

It comes just 36 hours after a separate accident at the same junction, as Burnham-On-Sea.com reported here.
