Sue to run London Marathon in memory of late husband

-

A Burnham-On-Sea woman will be running the London Marathon this Spring in memory of her late husband.

Sue Nicholls, pictured, will be taking part in the 2011 London Marathon on 17th April to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

“I am taking part in memory of my late husband Cliff and all the other people who have been affected by this illness,” said Sue.

“This is the first marathon I have attempted, although I have completed a couple of half marathons and lots of 10k’s in the two years that I have been running.”

“The training will be hard work during the winter months but I hope to complete the race in less than four and half hours.”

“I gained my marathon place through the charity Cancer Research UK and have pledged to raise at least £2,000 so please dig deep and donate now.”
