Electrical fault caused tractor fire at Burnham-On-Sea farm

An electrical fault is thought to have caused a fire that destroyed this tractor on a farm in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday morning (January 21st).

One Burnham fire crew was sent to Brent Road at 5.22am amid reports that the vehicle was alight.

Fire spokesman Paul Slavin told "Upon their arrival, the crew found the tractor well alight and set about extinguishing it using a hose reel jet and compressed air foam."

He added: "The cause is thought to be accidental, due to an electrical fault."
