Electrical fault caused tractor fire at Burnham-On-Sea farm

An electrical fault is thought to have caused a fire that destroyed this tractor on a farm in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday morning (January 21st).

One Burnham fire crew was sent to Brent Road at 5.22am amid reports that the vehicle was alight.

Fire spokesman Paul Slavin told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Upon their arrival, the crew found the tractor well alight and set about extinguishing it using a hose reel jet and compressed air foam."

He added: "The cause is thought to be accidental, due to an electrical fault."
