Highbridge Youth Club is set to re-opening later this month and is seeking new volunteers to help run it.

The first night back after its break will be Friday 27th May from 6-8pm.

The club’s Gill Bawler told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We are grateful for the support previously shown by local residents and now have an opportunity to develop this further.”

“The club is seeking a new manager who will deal with the weekly running of this hugely successful community initiative. There are also vacancies for youth workers to become part of the team to give the young people of Highbridge a safe place to meet. Both posts require a CRB disclosure and references.”

The Youth Club is updating the records of the young people who attend and therefore those who are returning on 27th May will need to bring a completed parental consent form with them. The forms can be collected from the office at Churchfield School, Denise in Asda or from Burnham Police Station.

For further details on the vacant positions, call Belinda Swansbury on 07595 070149.
