Motorist
cut free from car crash on A370
at East Brent

Fire
crews cut free a motorist trapped in a vehicle near Burnham-On-Sea
on Monday afternoon (May 7th).
The
A370 at East Brent was closed near the entrance to Dulhorn Farm
caravan park for several hours following the two-car accident,
which occurred at 1.30pm.
As
pictured here, fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea and Weston-super-Mare
were sent to the scene, along with two ambulances and police from
Burnham.
"Fire crews confirmed this was a two vehicle road traffic
collision with one female trapped inside a vehicle," a spokesman
told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
"Fire
crews carried out vehicle stabilisation and extricated the casualty
using hydraulic cutting equipment."
The
lady was treated for suspected neck and back injuries.
