Fire crews cut free a motorist trapped in a vehicle near Burnham-On-Sea on Monday afternoon (May 7th).

The A370 at East Brent was closed near the entrance to Dulhorn Farm caravan park for several hours following the two-car accident, which occurred at 1.30pm.

As pictured here, fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea and Weston-super-Mare were sent to the scene, along with two ambulances and police from Burnham.

“Fire crews confirmed this was a two vehicle road traffic collision with one female trapped inside a vehicle,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Fire crews carried out vehicle stabilisation and extricated the casualty using hydraulic cutting equipment.”

The lady was treated for suspected neck and back injuries.
