Two-car collision at A38 accident blackspot near Burnham-On-Sea

Police were called to a two-car collision at an accident blackspot on the A38 near Burnham-On-Sea on Thursday evening (July 5th).

A Rover and a Ford collided at the entrance to Burnham Moor Lane, with one vehicle ending up in a ditch, as pictured.

Both vehicles suffered front-end damage, but a police spokesman told there had been no serious injuries.

There have been several accidents at the busy junction in recent years, prompting a call for increased road safety measures last year.
