Tanker
slides off lorry in A38 accident near Burnham-On-Sea
A
tanker narrowly averted toppling over on the A38 on the outskirts
of Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday afternoon (October 28th) after sliding
off the back of a lorry.
The
blue ERF tanker almost turned over onto its side after being perched
on the edge of the flat bed lorry, as pictured here, at Edithmead.
It's
understood that the lorry was being loaded onto the lorry when
its wheels slipped off the edge.
A
vehicle recovery truck from Weston was called to safely pull the
blue tanker off the lorry. The incident led to the lay-by closed
for several hours.
