Severn
Barrage boss discusses 'green' concerns with Burnham's MP

Burnham-On-Sea's
MP met the entrepreneur behind controversial plans to build a
Severn Barrage between Brean Down and Wales this week.
Tessa
Munt met Gareth Woodham from the Severn Lake project during a
surgery session in Burnham town centre on Friday, as pictured.
Afterwards,
he told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "I explained to her that I fully
understand environmental concerns among local people and what
to address them. We spoke about the possibility of holding several
open meetings to answer people's questions and ensure as much
information as possible is available."
Later
in the day, Mr Woodham also met bosses at Sedgemoor District Council
in Bridgwater to further discuss his proposals.
"I
had a useful session with Doug Bamsey, the council's Corporate
Director of Regeneration, in which I outlined our plans and proposals
to encourage entrepreneurship. It was a well accepted visit and
a good step towards further liaison with the Somerset community."
